Today, we're introducing a new name for a platform that has already earned the trust of security teams across our customer base. Welcome IRIS+™ AI Guarding (previously known as IRIS+™ Enterprise).

The platform itself hasn't changed. Existing customers will continue using the same software, with the same features, integrations, licensing and support. There is nothing to migrate, no new contracts to sign, and no retraining required.

The change is simply the name. And we are thoroughly confident for the future this change will bring.

Welcome AI Guarding

When IRIS+™ Enterprise was introduced, the name served its purpose. As the platform has evolved, it became clear it was time for a name that reflects what the platform has become.

What's behind the new name

• It describes the platform’s exact role. AI Guarding describes what the platform is designed to do: help security teams detect events in real time while providing the investigative tools needed to review incidents when they occur.
• It sets a clearer direction for Irisity. As we bring exceptional new products to market under the IRIS+™ family, clear naming gives our customers and partners the ability to navigate a growing portfolio with confidence in choosing the right, objective-driven solution for their needs. AI Guarding is the first product to carry that standard.
• It's clearer, and easier to remember. Conversations with customers, partners and new prospects now are simpler: we can describe a platform that does exactly what its name says.

Nothing changes for existing customers

For existing customers, this announcement should be straightforward.

Your deployment remains exactly as it is today. Existing licences remain valid. Integrations with Genetec Security Center and Milestone XProtect continue to work as before, and your support arrangements remain unchanged.

Over the coming weeks, you'll begin seeing the new name appear across our website, documentation, partner portal and other customer-facing material. During this transition, you may still come across references to IRIS+™ Enterprise while those updates are completed.

The platform remains the same

IRIS+™ AI Guarding continues to provide the same capabilities customers rely on today, including:

• AI-powered real-time detection and alerts
• Fewer false alarms, accurate real-time monitoring
• Compatibility with existing camera infrastructure
• Live monitoring and forensic investigation in one platform
• Search for Similar and free-text search
• Deployment on-premises, in the cloud or in hybrid environments
• Native integration with partners such as Genetec Security Center and Milestone XProtect
• Floating licences for flexible camera allocation

Looking ahead

Renaming a product is a relatively small change, but names shape how products are understood. We believe IRIS+™ AI Guarding describes the platform more clearly and provides a stronger foundation as Irisity’s portfolio continues to expand.

Everything our customers value about the platform remains exactly the same. The name now reflects it more accurately.

AI Guarding is what our customers have already been getting from us, we're simply calling it what it is. As Irisity expands, it made sense to build a clear narrative around two distinct platforms, and through all of it, nothing changes for existing customers: same software, same features, integrations, licensing and support. No migration, no new contracts, no retraining. Just a name that finally matches what it's always done.
