IRIS™ Rail trespassing

IRIS™ Technology / Rail trespassing

Prevent accidents and serious injuries

IRIS™ Rail trespassing instantly triggers alarms if a person or object enters the track area, but does not issue alarms for normal train activity or passengers entering or exiting. The algorithm will work equally well in a crowded rush-hour city platform as on a country side railway station.

Detect people or objects entering the track area

Prevent serious accidents with real time alerts

Protect passengers, drivers and operators

This is how it works

IRIS™ Rail trespassing triggers alarms when humans or objects are detected within a track area. When this happens an alarm is instantly sent to the operator, which can make sure to take the appropriate action – such as stopping the train, or calling a guard. The difference between Rail trespassing and Intrusion detection is within the rule setup. Alarms are not triggered when trains enter or leave the station, or when persons appear within the zones while entering or exiting through the train doors.
